Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic updates

Information from Stretford Foodbank during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

Getting help

Due to the pandemic, we have had to change the way we operate. Our Foodbank walk-in centre has now closed. We now operate a delivery service only.

If you are a Trafford resident and need support, in the first instance please contact a professional agency that suits your needs. If you do not have agency support you should contact Citizens Advice Trafford 0300 330 9073 (8.30am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday) select option 4 for Trafford; hold the line and someone will help you access the support you need. Once your agency or CAT has issued an E-voucher we will contact you to arrange delivery to your home address. Your parcel will arrive in an unmarked vehicle. Our volunteers will wear a mask and keep their distance. They will not be able to enter your home with the parcel.

Volunteering

Stretford Foodbank would like to thank the public for their kind offers of help with volunteering during the Covid 19 crisis. We currently have enough volunteers to operate and are not accepting individual applications at the present time.
