The Trussell Trust runs the largest network of food banks in the UK, giving emergency food and support to people in crisis. Fourteen million people live below the poverty line and in the last year 2,1 million three-day emergency food supplies were distributed to people in crisis.
Anyone can reach crisis point and we're here to help when that happens. There's no shame in using a foodbank, and now it's all done by phone and evouchers so it’s just like getting a delivery from your supermarket. You don't have to see anyone apart from the volunteer who discretely delivers it to you.
